With 20+ years of teaching and coaching experience, Tim Sheredy is one of the most respected and successful golf teachers in the United States. He is a Top 25 Golf Coach in the U.S., and has twice been named the Southwest Florida PGA Teacher of the Year. Tim is known for his ability to make golf swings more powerful and accurate, make putting strokes simple and repeatable, and make golfers smarter by applying his SMART Golf Course Management techniques. Throughout his teaching career, Tim has helped thousands of golfers improve their playing ability and lower their scores. Emily has been our Head Professional since March of 2019. She has over 10+ years of golfing/teaching experience. She graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Business - Professional Golf Management. She competed on the Ferris State Women's Golf Team's starting lineup from 2010-2014. Previous employment before joining the Bucks Run family included working at Railside Golf Club in Byron Center, MI and Kent Country Club in Grand Rapids, MI. She has been a PGA Member since 2015.
Since joining the PGA, she was named the 2019 Assistant Professional of the Year for the State of Michigan and was named the 2022 Merchandiser of the Year for the Northern Chapter of Michigan. Emily enjoys helping others learn to love the game of golf by helping them improve their swing mechanics, knowledge of the game, and course management skills.
James is a local graduate from Beal City High School. After high school he graduated from the Golf Academy of America in 2012. Previous employment before joining the Bucks Run Team in January of 2015, was at Voyager Village Golf Club in Danbury, Wisconsin and Mystic Creek Golf Club in Milford, Michigan.
Ryan is a graduate from Merrill High School and went on to college at Northwood University. He graduated from college in 2021 with a B.B.A. in Sports Management. He has been a golf assistant here at Bucks Run since 2021. Previously, he worked for Fox Run Country Club in Grayling, MI as their shop assistant helping with sales, events, and customer service.
