Bucks Run Golf Club Staff
Jeff Sweet - General Manager, Golf Course Superintendent; GCSAA Member
Jeff graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in Crop and Soil Science, with an emphasis on Turfgrass Management. He has been a GCSAA member since 1995 and a Certified Golf Course Superintendent since 2004. Prior to joining Bucks Run in 1999, Jeff was at The Country Club of Lansing. Jeff also has had stops at Barton Hills Country Club and Travis Pointe Country Club, both in Ann Arbor. In 2008, Jeff was appointed to General Manager at Bucks Run. Jon graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Professional Golf Management. He has been a PGA Member since 2005. Before joining the Bucks Run family in January 2009, he was previously employed at Olde Florida Golf Club in Naples, Florida, and Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. Pete Lieber - Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager
Hailing from the Detroit Metropolitan Area, Pete brings with him more than 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. He has won many awards in the fine art of ice sculpting. Prior to joining Bucks Run in 2000, he was at Mt. Pleasant Country Club and before that, he was a chef at many of the exclusive fine dining restaurants and hotels in, and around the Detroit area. Alanna Lieber - Special Events/Banquet CoordinatorAlanna has been assisting guests in planning their events and special day at Bucks Run since 2002.
