Hello everyone and welcome back! For the next few weeks, I am excited to announce that our PGA Head Golf Professional, Jon Conklin, will be posting to our blog with tips for preparing for the 2015 golfing season. Jon has been with Bucks Run Golf Club since January 2009. Prior to that, he was employed at Olde Florida Golf Club in Naples, Florida and the Detroit Golf Club in Detriot, Michigan. Jon graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor.

Tree Work & Safety

As the winter rolls along, tree work on the course continues. We were fortunate to have minimal snow in December, which allowed us to move about the course easily and clean up after each tree was cut down. This winter’s focus is once again the removal of dead or dying Ash trees and removal of trees surrounding some greens, to allow more light to the putting surface.

The Ash trees, for the most part, will be extinct on.
